Bristol Rovers v Cambridge – Bristol Rovers to win BTTS 

Our second choice  for the BTTS win tip features another in-form side as Bristol Rovers host Cambridge at The Memorial Stadium. After winning five matches in a row, Rovers have thrown themselves right into contention for automatic promotion at the end of the season. Although, Oxford may take some catching in second place, winning their game in hand would put them just three points behind The U's, with a number is favourable fixtures against sides from the bottom half of the table to come. Considering Bristol Rovers were playing non-league football last year, this is already an outstanding achievement regardless of where they end up finishing. Their opposition this Friday comes in the form of Cambridge, who really need to get their skates on if they are to force their way into the playoffs. United are currently six points off the pace and now face three horrid games against teams from the top five. Although they are a decent side on their day, their away record is average at best and they travel to a place where only one team has team has managed single point in the last nine matches. Based on this fact, Rovers have got to be heavy favourites, but considering five of their last six home victories have also been BTTS wins, this fixture has to make it onto the coupon. 

 

Morecambe v Plymouth – Plymouth to win BTTS

Argyle were heavy favourites for the title following a decent start to the season, but have been reeled in by a number of their rivals over the last few weeks and now face a real fight on their hands if they are to gain automatic promotion to League One. Although this is a fairly perilous choice, Plymouth have a decent away record and Morecambe are not playing well at the moment, so I'm going to plumb for a BTTS victory for the visitors.
