Both teams to score tips for this weekend’s BTTS coupon on Sunday 28th February with four selections to make up a 10/1 BTTS tip.
Plenty of action as always from around Europe on Sunday and we’ve selected the matches in which we think both sides will find the net for our football tip on the BTTS market.
Both Teams to Score Tips 28th Feb
St Etienne v Caen BTTS
There’s an extra fixture in Ligue 1 this Sunday due to Europa League commitments. St Etienne were knocked out on Thursday night by Swiss outfit Basel, but they participated in two action packed games. 3-2 and 2-1 were the scorelines that put an end to their European campaign for this season, but they’ve certainly been playing openly in recent weeks. They are always strong at home and we can expect them to find the net here, especially as Caen have conceded in each of their last eight away matches. St Etienne have scored in each of their last four league games, rising to six if you count the Europa League. They’ve netted 18 of their 32 goals here and probably will emerge with at least a point. Caen are having a decent season and should ask a few questions of their hosts. They lost 4-1 to Lyon last time out and they also beat Montpellier 1-2 fairly recently. They’ve netted 15 of their 28 goals on the road and I think they can find a way onto the scoresheet.
Ajax v AZ BTTS
This is a mouthwatering clash in the Eredivisie on Sunday as both of these sides are in-form. AZ have won seven consecutive matches in the league and are rising up the standings quickly. They now sit 3rd behind PSV and today’s hosts. Depending on results elsewhere, Ajax could go top with a victory and there will be plenty of incentive to win this. They’ve been in decent defensive shape this season, but they’ve conceded in three of their last four and their last clean sheet came against out-of-form Excelsior. They’ve scored nine goals in their last four matches and have plenty of firepower. Despite their upward momentum, AZ have kept clean sheets in just two of their last six games in the league and their last away trip ended in a 3-6 victory. This should be a belter.
Moreirense v Tondela BTTS
14th plays 18th in the Portuguese Primeira Liga and there should be a few goals. Tondela haven’t kept a clean sheet in 20 matches and none in their last 11 away outings. They’ve only won once away all season and they are liable to concede here. But, they’ve scored in each of their last seven matches and in each of their last five away games. That includes netting twice against Sporting and holding them to a 2-2 draw, so they are capable of mounting plenty of attacks themselves. Both teams have scored in each of the last four of Moreirense’s home games. They’ve scored in each of their last 11 games and conceded in their last two. They’ve failed to keep a clean sheet here recently and I think they’ll struggle to contain Tondela. The away side lost 3-4 to Maritimo last weekend and I think this one will also finish with plenty of goals.
Racing Genk v Club Brugge BTTS
Another decent clash, this time in Belgium. Racing Genk sit 5th in the table and have won nine of their 13 home matches this season. They hit six here last time against Beveren. It brings their total up to 12 goals in their last four home matches. 25 of their 34 goals this season have come in front of their home fans and despite the arrival of high flying Club Brugge, they should find the net here. Brugge have won six times away this season including the last three where they’ve scored eight times. They’ve scored in each of their last eight matches and in each of their last three away. These are two very good attack minded teams who should serve up a decent match.
