Basel to beat St-Etienne
Basel won all three of their away matches in the Europa League group stage and can carry that form on in France tonight. They only conceded one goal in those three matches. St Etienne only managed draws in their last two group matches and haven’t won in their last three. Basel come into this on the back of three straight wins, scoring 11 goals and that’s perfect form for our accumulator tip.
Anderlecht to beat Olympiakos
Anderlecht beat Tottenham at home in the group stage and they’ve only lose one of their last nine home Europa League matches. Olympiakos have a terrible record after dropping out of the Champions League, they have lost four and drawn one of the last five Europa League matches and I fancy Anderlecht to win here.
Liverpool to beat Augsburg
Liverpool have a weekend off so they might play a strong team tonight to try and kill the tie off before the second leg and that’s perfect for our football accumulator on the Europa League. Liverpool come in off the back of a 6-0 win and their strikers are back to fitness. Augsburg haven’t won in four and lost two of their three home group stage matches.
Sparta Prague to beat Krasnador
Sparta Prague have a very good Europa League record, they’re unbeaten in nine home matches and eight home and away. They’ve won three of their four home matches so far this season. Both teams are coming in off the back of mid-winter breaks and I fancy a home win for tonight’s Europa League accumulator tip.
