Have Tottenham really got what it takes to land the title?

After yesterday’s triumphant victory over Manchester City last time out in the Premier League, Mauricio Pochettino and his increasingly impressive Tottenham Hotspur outfit have now arguably sounded themselves out as genuine title contenders throughout the remainder of the 2015/16 campaign.

 

The likes of Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen have continued their fine run of form for Spurs since the turn of the year, new emerging stars – such as Eric Dier and Dele Alli – have also served Tottenham well across the current season, and although the determined Leicester City still remain top of the Premier League table right in the here and now, nothing has quite been decided among the upper echelons of the English top-flight as of yet.

 

So, in light of what has so far proven a rather entertaining 2015/16 domestic campaign thus far, have Tottenham Hotspur really got what it takes to land the Premier League title this season?

 

Well, as arch rivals – Arsenal – also managed to seal a possible title defining victory over Claudio Ranieri’s plucky Foxes this weekend, thoughts of landing some much needed domestic silverware have certainly intensified in and around North London as of late…

 

Not to discount Leicester or Man City, but the fact that the title could be between Arsenal and Spurs is so exciting yet so frightening.

Some fans will nonetheless find themselves getting carried away should Tottenham Hotspur actually achieve the so-called impossible at the end of the season…
