Guus Hiddink has steadied the Chelsea ship and their unbeaten run continues. They will however be disappointed to have drawn their last two home matches with West Brom and Watford respectively, as they were leading against West Brom with five minutes to go and missed a pen against Watford to go 3-2 up.

 

Everton have really tightened up defensively in recent weeks, two clean sheets in a row and a more solid midfield dynamic has seen them score fewer goals going forward, but ensure that their performances are starting to warrant the results as throughout the season so far they’ve been playing well, but bottled it so many times against mid table opponents, particularly at home where they’ve been hit and miss all season.

Chelsea still do leak goals, however Hiddink will be making sure they improve on their defensive qualities as Everton could easily capitalise on the counter attack. Everton used to be the team to watch if you wanted to see goals, however after the 0-0 away at the Etihad I can see another low goal affair.
