Everton v Tottenham Predictions
Having won their last three on the bounce and currently occupying a Champions League birth, Tottenham have a great chance to mount the pressure on the top three with a win at Everton and can be backed at enhanced odds of 8/1 to do so with Betfair.

Everton have been hit and miss so far this season, a sense of unpredictability surrounding Roberto Martinez’ team has left The Toffees lingering in mid-table (11th).
The Toffees problems are clear for all to see, a team that has scored 35 goals (third best in the league) and conceding 28 goals (seventh worst in the league) pretty much tells the story. The last two home games against Leicester and Stoke in which seven goals were shipped in are a real indicator of where Everton’s problems lie.
Their poor defensive showing this season has definitely in part been as a result of long-term absentee Phil Jagielka. The England international’s knee ligament injury has been a huge blow, but his return to first team action within the coming weeks will be a welcome site to a back four that have seriously missed his experience and leadership at crucial times.
Tottenham have come leaps and bounds this season under Mauricio Pochettino and the cries of “title winners” might just be getting louder. After a convincing performance away at high flying Watford last weekend, Spurs showed they can grind out results which has certainly been there Achilles heel in previous years. By strict contrast to their opponents today, Tottenham have the best defensive record in the league (conceded 15) which has been a great platform for them only losing two league games all season.
Harry Kane’s resurgent form over the past couple of weeks has come at a great time and I think his ability to create space and find the net at any given time (11 league goals) will definitely be too much for the defensive pairing of John Stones and Funes Mori to deal with.
Therefore my first Everton v Tottenham prediction is Harry Kane to score anytime. The best odds for Kane to score vs Everton are 25/19 with 888Sport.

However, I don’t just think it will be Tim Howard picking the ball out of the net this Sunday. With the form that Belgian Romelu Lukaku is in having scored in nine out of his last 10 matches and already tallying up 15 league goals, I believe Hugo Lloris will be in a for a tough day and leads me on to my next football bet tip for Everton v Spurs this weekend.
With Gerard Deulofeu and Ross Barkley behind the big man, there’s no short of creativity in the Everton ranks considering both players are joint third in the charts for assists with seven each. It’s no surprise Everton have scored in their last 10 consecutive matches and I’m backing them to make it 11 against Tottenham.
My second Everton v Tottenham betting tip is going to both teams to score with the best odds found at Betfair where it’s 13/20 for BTTS.

My final Premier League prediction is based on both Everton and Tottenham having scored in 15 of their 19 Premier League games. Despite the last five encounters between both clubs averaging under 2.5 goals, it’s going to be hard to stop two teams renowned for their attacking style of play to revert to a more conservative stance.
Therefore, for my final Everton v Tottenham prediction, I’m backing Goodison Park to cook up another thriller with over 2.5 goals priced at 4/5 on Sky Bet.
