Both Teams to Score Betting Tips:
Fulham v Brentford
First up for our both teams to score accumulator this weekend is the West London derby between Fulham and Brentford. The hosts have certainly had a season to forget and currently find themselves hovering perilously close to the relegation zone in 20th place. The Cottagers did pick up a win – albeit a fortunate one at that – against Huddersfield last time out though and have scored in six of their seven home matches so far in 2015. Their opponents Brentford have been the surprise package in the Championship this year, and despite an inconsistent recent run, they still sit in seventh place with the playoffs still well within their reach. In regards to our accumulator, though, The Bees have the second highest percentage in the division for BTTS matches, so this seems like a decent place to start.
Scunthorpe v Peterborough
Second onto the coupon is the clash between Scunthorpe and Peterborough. The home side are currently on a wretched run of form and have not won in their last nine matches. The Iron do, however, have the best percentage in League One for BTTS matches at a very impressive 71% and their game with Notts County last weekend saw BTTS in under ten minutes. Their opponents Peterborough have had a managerial change of late which has seen The Posh win five of their last seven games and put them in touch of the playoffs. The corresponding match at London Road finished 2-1 to Scunthorpe earlier in the season, and judging by the fact United have not kept a clean sheet for nine matches, another BTTS could definitely be on the cards this Friday.
Port Vale v Colchester
Third on to the list sees Port Vale's home tie against Colchester United. Vale have had a disappointing season so far but should be perfectly safe in fifteenth place in League One. Despite losing their last four games on the bounce, they did win the away fixture earlier in the season 2-1 and should certainly fancy their chances of scoring against the third worst defence in the division. Colchester United are in huge trouble and their League One Survival is having by a very thin thread. The U's have, however, recorded two encouraging results in their last couple of fixtures and do have the seventh best record in the league for BTTS matches. Although, this could well be 'that' game in the accumulator, based on Vale's recent form and the fact Colchester are fighting for their survival, it's just about got my vote.
Luton Town v Exeter City
Last but not least we have Luton Town hosting Exeter City at Kenilworth Road. After a fantastic start to the season, The Hatters were heavy favourites to secure an automatic promotion place and the end of the year. However, a horrific run of eight defeats in their last nine matches has seen Luton tumble down to eighth and two points outside the playoff places. A win for their opponents Exeter City would see The Grecians go level on points with their hosts and still keep alive their hopes of a push for the playoffs. From a BTTS perspective, though, City have the best record in the whole of the football league for BTTS matches at a whopping 72%. Considering Luton's awful form of late, this has to make it onto our coupon this Friday.
