European Football Accumulator Tips this Weekend Using Handicaps

Football accumulator tips and predictions for our European accumulator tips weekend at odds of 9/1 with Bet365.

This week we change tact as we move away from the more traditional 1-X-2 acca to have a look at the Asian Handicap market. Those who aren’t au fait with said market should read this Wikipedia article before continuing as I may lose you at some point and we don’t want that now do we?

I looked at a seven fold for this week and the odds weren’t that great but by playing in this market the AHCP bet came out nearly two points better and we also have a few safety nets in our favour, more of that later. So let’s get to the selections and as usual they come in time/date order.

 

Weekend Accumulator Tips

 

Bayern Munich -1 handicap

The Bundesliga is now a week old after their winter break and rather surprisingly Bayern Munich have taken just one point from six. Despite their slow start they still get the nod and travel to Stuttgart looking to get back to winning ways. They play a Stuttgart side that sit second bottom, have won just once at home all season and Bayern have won their last six games at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. We are going with Bayern -1 on the AHCP. What this means is we need them to win by two for the bet to be a winner but should they win by just one, the bet gets voided.

 

Wolfsburg -0.5 handicap

Sticking in Germany our second pick is Wolfsburg at home to Hoffenheim. Die Wölfe have won eight in their last ten at home, their last match being a resounding 4-1 victory over Bayern. Hoffenheim started the season well going nine undefeated but since November they have just three wins in nine, losing four out of five on the road. We go with Wolfsburg -0.5 on the AHCP so they need to win by at least a goal for this to win.

 

Chelsea -1 handicap

Chelsea travel to Aston Villa and there surely can only be one outcome here. Even without the suspended Costa and doubts over Fabregas starting, they should have far too much for a hapless Aston Villa side. Chelsea are our selection, -1 on the AHCP.

 

Man City -1 handicap

City play Hull and we are siding with The Citizens to win by a few. The Blues came back into form with an impressive display at Chelsea and take on an out of sorts Hull side. Like Chelsea we go with -1.

 

Villarreal -0.5 handicap

In La Liga Villarreal host Granada and we are siding with the home team. El Submarino Amarillo lost their first game in ten last week going down 3-2 at Barça despite taking the lead twice. They have won their last five at home, scoring 12 times and conceding just once.  Granada are poor away from home, taking just seven points from a possible 33 and scoring just eight. Villarreal get the nod and we go -0.5 on the AHCP.

 

Juventus -1 handicap

The showpiece game in Italy this week is Juventus v AC Milan. Milan are more miss than hit in recent years and find themselves in midtable. They have won just twice on the road and travel to Turin where the home side boast the best record in the league winning eight from ten. Of those eight games they covered the 1- AHCP on six occasions; the remaining two would have resulted in a void bet. With that in mind it would be folly of us not to go -1 on this occasion.

 

Barcelona -1 handicap

Our last game seems Barça travel to Bilbao. After talks of impending doom after their defeat to Sociedad at the start of the year, Barça have won their last six in all competitions blitzing teams with their Messi, Neymar and Suarez frontline. Bilbao have struggled this season and the San Mamés Stadium hasn’t been the fortress they hoped it would be. Atlético walked away from here with a 4-1 win back in December and a similar scoreline looks to be on the cards this Sunday evening. With that in mind we’ll go Barça -1 on the AHCP.

 

The traditional win only seven fold comes in at 6/1.
